⚡ Samsung Odin / Download Mode Guide
Follow these steps to safely boot modern Samsung devices (including Galaxy A-series like the A06 and S-series) into Download Mode for flashing stock firmware via Odin.
Requirements:
- A Windows PC with official Samsung USB Drivers installed.
- A high-quality USB-C or Micro-USB data cable (connected to the PC).
- Device battery charged to at least 30%.
1
Power Off the Device
Turn off your Samsung phone completely. Wait about 5 to 10 seconds until it vibrates slightly, confirming a full shutdown.
2
Hold Volume Keys
Press and hold down both the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously. Do not touch the Power button!
3
Connect the USB Cable
While continuing to hold both volume buttons, plug the USB cable (which is already plugged into your PC) into your phone.
4
Release on Warning Screen
Release both buttons the moment you see a light-blue or green Warning screen on your phone.
5
Confirm & Enter Mode
Press the Volume Up (+) button once to confirm. Your screen will change to "Downloading... Do not turn off target". You are now ready to flash!
🛠️ Tech Diagnostics Tips:
To Exit without Flashing: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) and Power/Side buttons together for 7+ seconds until the screen goes blank and the phone restarts.
Odin not recognizing the phone? Make sure you are using a USB 2.0 port on your PC, change your USB cable, or reinstall the Samsung USB Driver package.
